Install the plugin and activate your license

Adding the Koarge plugin to your Framer project and entering your license key, so the plugin can load your offers.

Who this is for: Sellers setting up for the first time, or moving Koarge to a different Framer project.

Updated

Before you start

You need an active Koarge plan. Your license key arrives in the email you get when you subscribe — it starts with KRG-. The plugin does nothing without it.

You don't need Stripe connected to install the plugin, but you will before checkout can take a payment.

Install the plugin

  1. Open the Framer project you want to sell from.

  2. Open the Plugins menu and search for Koarge, or install it directly from framer.com/marketplace/plugins/koarge-checkout/.

  3. Install it. The Koarge panel opens in your project.

The plugin stays installed for that project. Open it any time from the Plugins menu.

Activate your license

Your license key confirms your plan is active and links this Framer project to your Koarge account. Until it's activated, the plugin can't load your offers.

  1. Open the Koarge panel in Framer.

  2. Paste your license key.

  3. Select Activate license.

The plugin checks the key, links the project, and confirms with License activated and site linked. From there you can carry on setting up in Framer, or open your seller dashboard and do it there.

Framer only ever stores your license key. Your Stripe account stays connected in your Koarge dashboard, not in the plugin.

Finding your key again

You don't need to store your key anywhere. It's always in your dashboard under Setup → Framer, with Reveal and Copy next to it.

Revealing it asks for your password. That's deliberate — anyone with your key and an open Framer project could attach checkout to a site you don't control. Treat the key like a password: don't paste it into shared documents, support threads, or public forums.

That same screen shows your license status, the address your checkout is published at, and when you last published.

One project at a time

Activating links your license to this Framer project. To move it somewhere else, unlink the current project first. See One Framer site per license.

If it doesn't work

  • You can't find the plugin. Check you're searching inside a Framer project rather than on the Framer dashboard.

  • The panel is blank after installing. Close and reopen it from the Plugins menu. If it's still blank, reload the Framer tab.

  • "Your plugin session expired. Please activate again." Paste your key and activate again. Nothing is lost — your offers, orders, and Stripe connection are unaffected.

  • The key is rejected. Copy it from your dashboard rather than retyping — keys are long and easy to mistype, and a trailing space will fail.

  • It says the license is already in use. The key is linked to another Framer project. Unlink it there first — see One Framer site per license.

  • It activates, then shows as inactive. Your plan may have lapsed or a subscription payment may have failed. See Your license is inactive.
