Brand your emails
Putting your logo, colours, and business name on the emails your buyers receive.
Where this lives
Setup → Emails in your seller dashboard, under branding. This is dashboard-only — the plugin's Receipt tab previews the email and sends you a test, but branding is set here.
What you can set
Business name — appears in the subject line, as "Your receipt from your business name". It defaults to the name you gave when you subscribed. Set this even if you do nothing else: an email from a name your buyer recognises gets opened, one from an unfamiliar name gets deleted.
Sender name — the name shown in your buyer's inbox list.
Logo — appears at the top of buyer emails.
Email colour — the accent colour used through the email.
Button colours — the download, receipt, and invoice buttons your buyer presses.
Corner styling — pill or square, to match how your site looks.
Support email — where buyers are pointed to reach you. Defaults to your account email.
Reply-to address — optional, and covered below.
Logo requirements
-
Format: PNG or JPG
-
Minimum: 200px on the shorter side
-
Maximum: 1000 × 1000px
-
File size: under 500KB
It's displayed at around 180px wide, so upload something with enough resolution to stay sharp on a high-density screen rather than exactly 180px.
Choosing one that works in email. Email clients aren't a design canvas:
-
Dark mode. Many clients invert or darken backgrounds, and a logo designed for white can vanish. A transparent background with a mid-tone mark survives both.
-
Wide horizontal lockups shrink to illegibility at 180px. A compact or stacked version reads better.
-
Fine detail and thin strokes disappear at small sizes.
Reply-to address
Buyers reply to receipts and delivery emails. They ask where their file is, request refunds, report broken downloads, and sometimes just say thanks.
If replies land in an inbox nobody reads, those messages go unanswered, buyers assume they're being ignored, and some of them become chargebacks.
Use an address you actually read daily. A support address forwarding to your main inbox works well; so does your normal business address if you're a one-person operation. Avoid a no-reply address — telling someone who's paid you that they can't reply is a poor experience and does nothing for your sending reputation.
Leave it empty and replies go to your account email. Usually right, but worth confirming it's the inbox you're watching.
What you can't change
Layout, fonts, and wording are fixed. There's no template editor and no custom HTML.
Transactional email is unforgiving — a receipt has to render across dozens of email clients, survive dark mode, stay readable on a phone, and get past spam filters, every time. A buyer who can't read their download link is a buyer who can't get what they paid for. The fixed structure is tested against those conditions; the parts you can change are the ones that are safe to change.
Check it before you rely on it
Open the Receipt tab in the Framer plugin to preview the email and send yourself a test. Check it on a phone and in dark mode, not just on your desktop.
If it doesn't work
-
Your logo is rejected. Check format, dimensions, and file size against the list above.
-
It looks blurry. Upload a larger version — it's displayed around 180px wide.
-
It disappears in dark mode. Use a transparent background and avoid pure black or pure white marks.
-
Replies aren't arriving. Reply to one of your own test emails and see where it lands.
-
You want different branding per offer. Not supported. Branding is set once for your account.
