Cancel your plan or close your account

Stopping your subscription, or ending your account permanently. They're different things.

Who this is for: Sellers stopping or leaving.

Updated

Which one you want

Cancelling stops your subscription. Your account and data stay, and you can come back.

Closing ends the account and deletes your data. Not reversible.

If you only want to stop paying, cancel.

Cancel your plan

Go to Billing and cancel. You'll be asked to confirm.

It takes effect at the end of your paid period, not immediately. Until that date nothing changes — checkout runs, offers sell, deliveries send.

What stops when the period ends

Checkout stops working on your site. Your license goes inactive and buyers can't pay.

This is easy to overlook when you're cancelling because you've stopped selling anyway — but the button stays on your page looking functional. Remove your checkout buttons and republish before your period ends, or leave visitors clicking something broken.

What doesn't happen

Your account isn't closed and nothing is deleted. Offers, orders, files, and settings stay, and you can still sign in and look at your order history. Buyers with valid download links keep downloading until those links expire or hit their limit.

Annual plans mid-term

Cancelling part-way through stops the renewal. It doesn't refund the unused portion — you keep access to the end of the year you paid for.

Founding pricing

If you're on a founding rate, cancelling gives it up. Resubscribing later means paying whatever the price is then.

Coming back

Restart from Billing at any time. Your offers, orders, and files are still there, and checkout resumes once the subscription is active.

The 14-day money-back guarantee

First payment only, monthly or annual. If Koarge isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of your first charge and you get that payment back. It exists because there's no free trial.

Contact support and ask. You don't need to justify it, though telling us why is useful.

It doesn't cover renewals. Month four isn't refundable because you forgot to cancel in month three.

It doesn't cover your buyers' payments. That money is in your Stripe account and refunding it is up to you. See Issue a refund.

If something has genuinely gone wrong — a service failure, a charge you didn't authorise — contact support regardless of timing.

Close your account

Before you close

Export your orders and download your invoices. You may need them for tax years still open.

Confirm you have your original files. Koarge's copies go.

Remove checkout from your Framer site and republish. Otherwise visitors keep clicking a button that fails.

Refund anything you intend to refund, while the order still links to a connected Stripe account.

Tell buyers with active download links, if you have any. Their access ends.

Close

From Settings, under Your data, choose to close your account. You'll need to re-enter your password to confirm.

Closing cancels your plan, deactivates your checkout, and deletes your account data after 90 days. Transaction records are retained as required by law.

Why 90 days

It gives you a window to realise you needed something, and time for any final payment or dispute to settle.

Within those 90 days, contact support if you change your mind. After deletion completes, nothing can be recovered and a new account starts empty.

Your Stripe account

Unaffected. It's yours, it stays open, and your balance, payout history, and dashboard access are untouched. Closing Koarge doesn't close Stripe.

Refunds on past orders are still issued from your Stripe dashboard afterwards, as they always were.

If it doesn't work

  • You cancelled by mistake. Restart from Billing before the period ends and nothing is interrupted.

  • You were charged after cancelling. Check the date — a charge before your cancellation would still have gone through. Contact support if it doesn't add up.

  • You're past 14 days and want a refund. Cancel to stop future charges.

  • You closed by mistake. Contact support immediately — inside 90 days there's a good chance of recovery.

  • You need a record after closing. Contact support.
