Your sign-in details and security
Changing your name, email, or password, and checking where you're signed in.
Where this lives
Settings in your seller dashboard.
Your name
Edit it from Account summary. This is your own name on your Koarge account — it isn't the business name your buyers see on receipts. That's set under Setup → Emails.
Your email address
This is the address you sign in with, and where Koarge sends your invoices and account alerts.
Enter the new address in Settings. Koarge sends a verification email to it, and the change completes once you've confirmed from that address. Until you confirm, your old address stays active — so if the verification never arrives, nothing is lost.
Make sure you can receive mail at the new address first. If the verification doesn't arrive and you've already lost the old address, you'd need support to help.
What it doesn't change
Your Stripe account. Separate, with its own email. Change it in Stripe if you need to.
Your support and reply-to addresses for buyer emails. Also separate, under Setup → Emails. Changing your account email doesn't move where buyer replies go — worth checking if you're leaving the old address behind entirely.
Past orders. Buyer email addresses on orders are unaffected.
Your password
Change it from Settings. You'll need your current password, then your new one. Minimum 8 characters — longer is better, and a passphrase beats a short complicated string.
If you're locked out, use Forgot password on the sign-in screen. You'll get a reset link by email, valid for 24 hours.
Where you're signed in
Settings shows every session on your account — device, browser, location, and when each was last active. Your current one is marked.
You can sign out of any single session, or sign out everywhere else in one click, which ends every session except the one you're using.
Worth doing if you've signed in on a shared or borrowed computer, or if you see a session you don't recognise. If it's the latter, change your password as well.
If it doesn't work
-
No verification email. Check spam and the spelling, then request it again.
-
You've lost access to the old address. The change still works — verification goes to the new one.
-
You've lost access to both. Contact support.
-
Your password is rejected. Check it's at least 8 characters and caps lock is off.
-
A session you signed out of is back. Someone signed in again with your password. Change it.
